On November 18–21, the next workshop of the EU Erasmus+ project "Transforming Graduate Education for Green and Sustainable Future (T-GREEN)" took place at Mykolo Romerio universitetas (Vilnius, Lithuania). The event focused on the methodology for developing joint or dual “green” master's degree programs designed by several Armenian universities participating in the project.

The Gyumri branch of the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA) was represented by Director Artur Kostandyan and Naira Manasyan, coordinator of grants and pre-university education.

At the official opening of the workshop, welcome speeches were delivered by Nomeda Gudelienė, advisor to the Vice-Rector of Mykolas Romeris University; Ani Virabyan, Head of the Higher Education and Science Policy Department of the RA Higher Education and Science Committee; and Ruben Markosyan, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs at Eurasia International University and co-coordinator of the T-GREEN project. The speakers highlighted the achievements made so far within the framework of the program and emphasized the importance of observations made by EU partners in the process of developing joint or dual degree master's programs.

Within the T-GREEN project, Armenian universities plan to launch new joint or dual master's degree programs in “Green Economy and Governance,” “Blockchain and Digital Currencies,” and “Sustainable Cities.” Representatives of the Armenian universities presented the preliminary packages of their developed programs.

During the workshop, EU partners shared their experience in developing dual-degree “green” master's programs, focusing on comparative analysis, alignment of outcome-based education principles, ensuring program sustainability, developing innovative modules, and improving evaluation methods to enhance compatibility and learning outcomes.

At the closing of the workshop, Ruben Markosyan, Vice-Rector of Eurasia International University, summarized the discussions and expressed gratitude to the colleagues from Mykolas Romeris University for organizing an effective working meeting and their hospitality. Participants stressed the importance of continued collaboration among universities to systematically work toward including the newly developed programs in the official list of master's programs approved by the competent authority in Armenia.
