Mobility as a Path to Diversity in the Digital Age: NPUA Delegation's Visit to the University of Ruse, Bulgaria
At the 9th Erasmus+ International Week, held at the "Angel Kanchev" University of Ruse in Bulgaria, alongside the delegation from the National Polytechnic University of Armenia (NPUA), representatives from 27 universities across 16 countries also participated, including from China, Nepal, Malaysia, Egypt, Moldova, Georgia, Romania, Poland, and others.
The NPUA Foundation's delegation, consisting of Ani Mamikonyan, Head of the Grants and Fundraising Department, and Artur Kostandyan, Acting Director of the Gyumri Branch, familiarized themselves with the university’s innovation centers and laboratories and held discussions with Professor Pavel Vitlyemov, Head of the Department of Economics and Management at Angel Kanchev University. As a result of a joint application with Professor Vitlyemov and his colleagues Lyudmila Mikhaylova and Emil Papazov to the Erasmus+ KA171 mobility program, the NPUA Foundation was awarded 94 points, which is considered a high result.
Ani Mamikonyan stated:
"Our participation in the Erasmus+ International Week at Angel Kanchev University gave us an opportunity not only to strengthen our relationships with new partners but also to create new platforms for academic exchange and joint projects. I find it important to note that although our previous program applications did not yield results, they laid the groundwork for future, stronger cooperation. This mobility confirmed that each attempt is part of the path to success. We established valuable connections with representatives from universities in many countries, and I am confident that these will soon translate into tangible outcomes. Among them are technology universities from Shanghai.”
Artur Kostandyan delivered a series of lectures on topical subjects, including:
-
Implementation of green technologies and efficient resource management in the textile industry,
-
Development of the textile industry through the use of green technologies and sustainable resources,
-
The relevance of applying green business models in the textile industry in the context of sustainable development and environmental protection,
-
Governance and leadership as strategic tools for ensuring efficiency and competitiveness.
Starting in September, two students from NPUA will participate in the exchange program with Angel Kanchev University.
